3:45am- I am few of us leave home to pack our bags and get ready for this adventurous journey.
4:00am- I leave to the meeting point, just to find cops moving around and asking me questions of what I was doing there….lolz….
4:30am- Slightly drizzling, thunderous roar of the clouds up above. And me standing and waiting for the rest to join in. At the same time rest of them all meet up at Wipro and leave to the meeting point.
4:50am- I was joined by the rest of the group, along with new comers who were equally excited to do this trip as we intended to.
The Basic AIM of this trip was to explore new territories which AR was yet to lay a foot step on.
We decided to make two teams.
Team A) — Group of seven who would explore the hills start and do adventure on the trip.
Team B) — Discover the religious places in Uttranchal.
Team A) — Was Aiming for Rishikesh but ended up going further 40 km up to Biyassi, It was led by me and Amit( Iceman )
Team B) — Aimed for Haridwar and explore the region. This team was led by Tushar, Sid and Pulkit.
We started off from Delhi via Ghaziabad to Rishikesh at 5:00am
In total we were having 8 bikes…. 16 of us started off…. and Rocked the roads …. Unfortunately we were drenched by stormy rain in the beginning which led to confusion and I was at the end of the group and missed a turn … Which I realized when I got a call from Amit who was asking me where I was. Well … I had done at least 25km till the time I realized that I was heading the wrong direction. I was under rain all time at the same time rest were enjoying the cool breeze and Dhaba ( CHAI) … I took a U turn and came back the same place and joined the rest in an hours time.
We started cruising down the road at 80-100kmph and were doing that with a sense of easiness… where the Team A+B was led by Tushar and his pillion Amit who was guiding us all with his hand signals. In the middle was Sims and his pillion Mark( Mohit) who was also doing the same hand signals for helping the people following the.
The co-ordination was excellent and we did the stretch with no problems at all. We stopped numerous times for scenic pics and poses.
The main break – stop was at the Midway to Rishikesh. We had breakfast and was entertained by our most energetic sweet heart (MOU) …
This trip was amazing as we enjoyed bright – hot sun and within an hours time dark clouds and rain. This happened all the way to Haridwar.
Team -B) Made their final destination within 2pm and enjoyed their stay.
Team -A) Proceeded for their destination and started off at the foot hills of HIMALAYA
Well the time we started with the hills … we were amazed to see the beauty of that place. No words to describe. Let me try my best here. Rounding up curves at 40kmph and one side you have road leading to your destination, on the other you have green hills and at the bottom of it all find bright blue water flowing…. Oh My God…. With partial white clouds moving across the hills to blue bright sky on top…. That was close to heaven.
We finally managed to reach our destination to find that there was no parking for the bikes.
I was concerned with the safety of our vehicles.
We asked the manager of the camp to help us with it. He assured us that there was no problem from safety point as there were very few people who would cross that secluded area.

We climbed down to find the river and the river bank full of find sand which hugged our feet. Even though we were drenched thank to the rain and dirty … We didn’t bother to see anything but start playing with the sand right then and there. Then we saw few blue tents on the other side of the river. The manager came up and said that they were ours. We could not stop screaming with Joy and the letter WOW finally had a meaning to it.
There it was a 100 meters from the most beautiful camps we had ever seen, and a Blue boat comes up to us to take us all there. Excited with joy and even though we all were actually tiered…. we didn’t give a damn about the tiring body but to start enjoying and parting right away:D
We went up to our respective shimmering blue tents and settled down to take a grasp of fresh air. Then we could not resist playing beach volley ball. Well I was too busy gazing at the beautiful surround, Sims, Mohit, Amit and Mou started playing the ball game…
We started discovering the place as we walked along the river up to the place where we found tons of huge rocks and water flowing below. It was like a dream world where we could be lost for ever. We climbed up and down those rocks to find the river water passing below freezing
As we sat down and put our feet in the chilled river… we were already dreaming
We played with water all evening and the with the beach sand. We made loads of house in mud and destroyed them …hehehehe
As the evening started growing, we went wild…. there was no electricity no mobile reception there… with bright white moon never ever saw it so clearly as it enlighten the world of out there… we could see everything clearly even though it was dark.
We could hear animals hauling … peacocks sing… birds beeping … And Mou laughing.Lolz…
Then there were snacks… with borne fire… Snacks with Tea/Coffee…. oh man … with the cool breeze blowing across… And we all sang the whole night with loads of booze and parting all night long. Long forgotten the world we left behind. No one to disturb …
We made the best of time… Utilized to enjoy the Mother Nature what she had given all of us.
Next morning we woke up to find our self’s under rain … … I mean the waterproof tents were good enough to stop the rain entering our beds… …
Then we woke up , had our breakfast and joined by the manager again, he offered us a ride down the river and we agreed. We all did the best damn river rafting ever. As the Sun got brighter we went over the chilled water … we all wore our life jackets/helmets and start to take the FEEL of the water around…. we became best of swimmers and ready for Olympics even though it was first time for us to get into the river …
rafting down the river at speeds exceeding the Sound barrier (on water)…. We had amazing fun….
This was the best damn MURO ever …
This is all from the Team – A side…
…. The upcoming Get-together would be more adventures and more fun to rap up and get ready … we have almost a months time for the next….
